Ammonyte provides three methodologically distinct approaches for detecting abrupt transitions in paleoclimate time series:

• Augmented KS Test — statistical distribution-based detection using the augmented Kolmogorov–Smirnov test
• Ruptures — optimization-based changepoint detection via cost function minimization
• LERM — nonlinear dynamical analysis using Laplacian Eigenmaps of Recurrence Matrices
